Police Story 4: First Strike is a Taiwanese Movie. The original grossed over US$1 billion in China including a number of awards and nominations. Police Story 4: First Strike was released in December 2018 and was released in the United States on Thursday, January 3rd 2019 by the company Yoozoo Pictures. This movie is a prequel to the 1992 film, Police Story 3: Supercop. This movie follows the story of Jimmy Lin who starts his life as a rookie cop with an uneasy feeling that he has to stop every criminal from escaping every time because they’re always running from something or someone else. The story follows Lin’s life before he became a cop, his family life, and the conflicts he faces along the way. The movie starts with Jimmy Lin as a young boy who is yelling at his cousin. He’s shown as a very stubborn kid and his parents try to reason with him but he doesn’t listen. He gets in an argument with his brother who believes that his aunt has stolen their father’s money and believes that their mother is lying about it. Lin gets upset and walks out of the house and eventually decides to give up on the family and tries to leave but falls off of a bridge into water below. Lin survives the fall and is found by a man named Uncle Hua who brings Lin into his home and gives him a safe place to stay. He even pays for all of his school fees so that Lin can have a proper education as well as teach him martial arts as he grows up. Hua has a daughter by the name of Xiaohua who is very close with Lin. The two seem to have a warm relationship where they’re both very supportive of one another. They also get into many fights because of Lin’s stubborn nature. When Xiaohua shows interest in a boy named Henry, Lin doesn’t want her to go out with him but she ignores him. The two get into a fight and Xiaohua decides to leave for a while. Lin gets very upset at this and goes over to his friend, Mr. Du who helps him get his strength back because he thinks that he was used by his aunt and family all along for their money. After this, Du tells Lin to work off the debt that he owes him by joining the police force since all of his family members are criminals and crooks. Lin goes to the recruitment center and becomes an officer. On his first day, he meets his partner, Ah Li who has a very hard time dealing with the fact that Lin is a cop. Lin tries to do everything he can to prevent Ah Li from getting hurt but she keeps getting hurt for various reasons such as falling off of things and being attacked by others. Once this happens, Lin tries his best to protect her but can’t do it. Once they reach the police station, Li gets into trouble with another officer and is taken away for questioning by him which causes Ah Li to be upset and upset at Lin for not intervening. cfa1e77820
